Dr Gordon McKinnon

Gordon graduated from Glasgow University in 2009 and has been an integral part of the Dunlop and Humphreys team since joining, that same year. In 2018, upon the retirement of his esteemed trainers and mentors Alec and Elaine, he assumed the role of Practice Owner and Principal Dentist.

Gordon is dedicated to continuously updating and enhancing his skills by regularly attending post-graduate courses. In 2012, he successfully passed his MJDF examinations, earning membership in both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the College of General Dentistry. Additionally, he serves as a Vocational Trainer for NHS Education Scotland, mentoring newly qualified dental graduates.

Gordon enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about providing thorough and comprehensive care. He is committed to helping his patients achieve healthy mouths and feel confident with their smiles. Known for his relaxed manner, Gordon strives to put patients at ease and involve them in the decision-making process for their treatment plans. He finds great reward in often treating multiple generations from the same family.

Outside of work, Gordon is extremely busy spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their two young children, Murray and Lottie. He enjoys mountain biking in all weathers and playing squash whenever possible.

Dr Emma Robertson

Emma, a dedicated graduate from Dundee University in 2020, joined Dunlop and Humphrey’s in August 2022. Following two years of experience at an NHS practice in Huntly, she relocated to Helensburgh, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge. Emma's passion for general dentistry is complemented by a special focus on oral surgery, supported by advanced training in composite fillings and the Sure Smile clear aligner system. Her warm chair-side approach ensures patients feel at ease under her care.

Hailing from Manchester, Emma cherishes visits to her family. Outside the clinic, she indulges in her love for sailing, actively participating in Wednesday night east patch racing on the Clyde during the summer.

Dr Zach Geddes

Zach Graduated from Glasgow university in 2024. He originally comes from Cambuslang and now stays in the West End of Glasgow.

He enjoys all general dentistry and hopes to complete further training in Invisalign and short term orthodontics in the future. Since joining Dunlop and Humphrey's he has  already begun building strong relationships with patients, this is something he is very passionate about.

Outside of work he plays golf, goes road cycling, plays guitar and regularly trains in the gym.

Dr Jordan Greene

Jordan Greene graduated from Glasgow University in 2022 and began his career in Lanarkshire before moving to the practice.

He is currently undertaking extensive Post-Graduate Certification training in Restorative Dentistry to better help his patients who have lost multiple teeth or suffer from tooth wear to re-establish proper function of their teeth. Jordan is particularly interested in protecting patients who grind their teeth. He also offers cosmetic treatments such as clear aligners to straighten teeth and composite bonding to improve their appearance. Jordan invests a lot of his time to learn the most up to date methods in dentistry so that he can better provide options to his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Jordan likes to play golf and keep fit.
